Hi, I'm Mercedes! I'm the face behind Sturgis + Co. Photo. I'm located in Hudsonville, MI and I started taking pictures in 2015, but my business blossomed when my daughter was born in 2019. I knew I never wanted to miss a moment of her life, so I invested in a camera and that was the beginning of Sturgis + Co. Photo.
A little bit about me:
- I'm married to my husband Colin & we have a 4 year old daughter, Charli.
- Colin is my 2nd shooter. It's been so much fun teaching him how to take pictures and being able to do what I love with the person I love. He absolutely loves it!
- I'm 100% a homebody. My perfect day would be cuddled up on the couch with my family!
- I love to decorate and I'm super obsessed with thrifting vintage home decor! I love to create a cozy space.
- My favorite season is fall. Flannels, beanies, sweaters and boots are my fav.
- I could watch Halloween and Christmas movies all year long.
