Hi, I'm Mercedes! I'm the face behind Sturgis + Co. Photo. I'm located in West Michigan and I started taking pictures in 2015, but my business blossomed when my daughter was born in 2019. I knew I never wanted to miss a moment of her life, so I invested in a camera and that was the beginning of Sturgis + Co. Photo.

A little bit about me:

• I'm married to my husband Colin & we have two beautiful children, Charli + Rowan.
• Colin is my 2nd shooter most of the time, if he isn't working at his full time job! It's been so much fun teaching him how to take pictures and being able to do what I love with the person I love.
• I'm 100% a homebody. My perfect day would be cuddled up on the couch with my family!
• When I'm not busy behind the camera, I love to thrift and read!
